Seminar PM-86: Managing Information Technology Projects

Description: Information Technology projects are known to face a high level of risk, cost overruns, and delays. This seminar covers the complete Project Management lifecycle based on the Project Management Institute methodology (PMI-PMBOK). The seminar focuses on the specific characteristics related to Information Technology (such as software development and integration, managing end-users, managing external goods or service providers, etc.). We also assess the common risks related to these projects and the means to mitigate them. The seminar includes daily presentations on the concepts, project techniques, tools, exercises, and sector-related case studies.
Objectives: The objectives of the seminar are to develop, increase, and strengthen the knowledge of the participants in Information Technology programs/projects and provide the participants with the conceptual and practical knowledge to efficiently and effectively manage the Information Technology projects.
